How to connect solar batteries in series and in parallel ?

To know how to connect solar batteries in series, you must know free important rules :

1 : Tensions are added when batteries are connected in series, the capacity stay fix.

2 : Capacities are added when batteries are connected in parallel, the tension stay fix.

3 : The positive wire must be connected on the first battery and the negative wire must be connected on the last battery of the series and of the parallel branch as shown above.

Knowing these rules, run a challenge by trying to perform wiring of these systems :

1 ) First try with our help !

Here you have to make a wiring with solar batteries 200Ah-12V (batteries are also called elements). We want to multiply by three the system capacity (200Ah to 600Ah). It was said earlier that this is the paralleling of batteries wich multily capacity.

2 ) More difficult !

In this challenge, two parameters must be change, the first is the voltage, and the second is the capacity. Imagine that it is possible to combine series and parallel.

4 ) Another kind of battery

This wiring must be done with 450Ah-6V batteries. You will see, it is not very hard !

5 ) A little series wiring
